Our mission is to provide comprehensive quality community-based mental health/intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance abuse services to all residents of Jackson and George counties. 

Singing River Services- Region 14 has been serving the communities of Jackson and George counties for 50 years. The agency was established in 1972 as one of 15 comprehensive mental health centers in Mississippi. We have facilities in Jackson and George counties that offer specialized services for adults, people with serious mental illness, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and people with chemical and other addictions, the elderly, children, and their families.

We believe that to accomplish our purpose, we must promote community inclusion and self-empowerment through raised awareness and advocacy for those we serve. As a necessary underpinning to this provision of services, we intend to create and maintain a stable organizational foundation committed to visionary growth, fiscal responsibility, enhanced work and treatment environments and continuous quality improvement.
