Singing River Services offers a variety of mental health services for adults. Our services include individual, family, and group therapy services. 

The adult services offered at Singing River Services are designed to improve the quality of life and assist individuals with both short-term and long-term treatment for all residents of Jackson and George counties.

Singing River Services is committed to making available a comprehensive system of services and support so all residents of Jackson and George counties have access to the least restrictive and most appropriate level of services and support that will meet their needs. Our services are person-centered and built on the strengths of individuals and families while meeting their needs for special services. Services should be provided on a continuum of where the person is at that time and what their needs are. All individuals are screened to determine the most appropriate treatment recommendations. 

Individualized Mental Health Services

At Singing River, our experienced team will develop an individualized treatment plan for your specific needs and goals. Individualized treatment plans are designed to increase or support independence and community participation, and are based on strengths, challenges, desired outcomes, and activities to support positive outcomes. 

Community Support Specialists

Assist in creating goals with you, and encourage being successful in achieving set goals.

Crisis Intervention & Emergency Services

Assist individuals experiencing a situation where behavioral health needs exceeds their resources.

Outpatient Therapy
Services

Individual, family or group therapy services designed to assists with both short and long-term goals.

Psychiatric & Physician Services

Services provided by medically trained personnel to address mental health conditions.

Payment for Services

Singing River Services is required by federal law to charge a fee for services provided. Fees are collected prior to services being provided. All fees are based on the family gross income and the number of members in the family. The fee paid will then be based on our standard sliding fee scale. Below is a list of accepted insurance providers. If you do not see your provider, please feel free to contact us in case there have been updates.

At Singing River Services, we help create a care plan that addresses your specific mental health needs and we are here to answer all of your questions and acknowledge your concerns. We are committed to not only providing outstanding care and treatment, but improving the lives of the residents of Jackson and George counties that need it most. 

All individuals requesting services are screened to determine the most appropriate treatment recommendations. Our staff strives to make each interaction with patients clear, concise, and inviting.
Bring proof of income to your first (intake) visit, and we will work with you to develop fees and payments. Fees are on a sliding scale, based on your income.
There are income based programs available to help you pay for your medications if you cannot afford them.

Expect to be here for about two hours. You will typically see two people at your first appointment. First, is an intake specialist. This is the person to whom you will need to provide identification, contact, insurance, and proof of income information. Second is the therapist. A therapist is a master level mental health specialist who will work with you at intake to assess your current mental health needs, develop a treatment plan, and connect you with the people you need to be evaluated by, such as a psychiatrist.

-Medicare or Medicaid cards
